Multi-unit residential water heating replacement

We removed an existing natural draft fired heating boiler serving this 12-plex in Kitchener. All the heating piping inside of the mechanical room needed to be reworked, then we installed two Navien firetube boilers and designed the primary and secondary heating loops. We installed the boiler on closely spaced tees on the primary loop. We ran all new flue gas venting, gas lines, hydronic waterlines and pumps. 

To finish, we installed two new valves on the primary loop, air separator, boiler water fill, condensate neutralizers and all other components in record time in order to get the building’s heat back on in time for all the tenants’ Christmas celebrations.
